In La Garrofa you have to the scope a very attractive playful - sports offer for all the pleasures, which you can realize comfortably in the same enclosure or in the precincts.

Diving:

The diving is an emblematic sport of the province of Almeria, emphasized by its seafloor of poseidonia. The outskirts of the camping are notable by its rocky cliffs which shelter fauna and indigenous, ideal flora to be observed in the practice both of the snorkel and of the diving with bottles of oxygen. For it the Camping La Garrofa is provided with the collaboration of the Club of Diving Crised (belonging to the Fedas) Located 1000 meters away of the Camping, which allows you to take courses of Start Level and of Pro Level, You can also take a Course in Submarine Photography.

Kayak in sea:

The canoeing of Kayak in sea is a sport in heyday in the last years, the Mediterranean coast is ideal for this type of sports. So much for those who have their own craft as those who want to experiment, the place of the camping is perfect for the practice of this sport. Also, the Camping La Garrofa offers in collaboration with the Club of Nautical Activities Eolo courses of initiation in canoe, holding a permit passages and rent and sale of teams.

Climbing:

The orography of the area where Camping la Garrofa is located with cliffs of lime rock favours the practice of the Climb both for beginners and for experts. Few meters away of the camping there meets a rocódromo and an area of climb with 46 open routes of different lengths and that come up to a difficulty 7th +. In the Club Almeriense of Mountaineering (C.A.M.) they can obtain quite the information regarding this area of climb and others of the surroundings.

Western Towns:

In Almeria Tabernas Desert former film scenes of the historic American western movies have become a theme park on the west, the Golden Years of Western industry and also to publicize a zoological reserve with over 150 animal species.

The West Village has a lounge and store, as well as the ability to ride horses, visit the lovely garden of cactus and enjoy the play areas for both young and for older, plus a restaurant with buffet service and integrated pool.

Trekking:

The Camping is placed in the place known as La Garrofa between the hillsides of the Sierra of Gádor, which allows the practice of trekking in the very camping. The location of the camping allows you to follow routes from the very Camping through big historical and landscape interest and easily accessible places. Like for example, watchtower accessed to the tower, the Path to the Roman bridge or to the Roman roadway. Equally, its strategic situation makes it suitable to follow routes of one day and trekking for the numerous places of natural interest of the province: Punta Entinas-Sabinar, Cabo de Gata-Nijar, Parque Natural de Sierra Nevada, la alpujarra almeriense, Sierra Alhamilla, Sierra de los Filabres and many more. You may ask for information about routes of interest in the Reception of the Camping.

Game zones:

In the central area we have an infantile park for the smallest, where they can be watched by their parents playing, while they enjoy our bar.

Workshops:

La Garrofa is studying to extend the offer of outdoor activities for the children by means of a program of Workshops on different topics: vegetable ecology, environment, alternative energies. Likewise, games will be organized, gymkhanas, etc. that will allow the children to enjoy the nature and the free air while they keep learning. See more

The Volleyball and its summer variant, the Beach-Volley is already a tradition in Camping La Garrofa, which sets up every summer a track for its practice in front of the sea allowing the practice of this sport between campers of different nationalities. Also the petanque is practised in the Camping La Garrofa from its origins, being played in an area enabled facing the sea.
